當中包括 Family Empowerment Centers、Parent Training and Information Centers，以及服務較少獲支援家庭的 Community Parent Resource Centers。

Preparing for special-education meetings: find a California parent-support center
California’s education department lists nonprofit parent organizations supporting families of children and young people with disabilities. These include Family Empowerment Centers, Parent Training and Information Centers, and Community Parent Resource Centers serving families with limited access to support.
Age ranges and service areas differ, so proximity alone is not enough. Explain the county, child’s age, preferred language and educational question, then ask about suitable training, individual information or referrals. Prepare the meeting date and key questions. Keep full assessment and school records out of public forum comments.
