AKA-LA connects Korean adoptees in Los Angeles through social gatherings, cultural activities and discussions about identity and shared experiences. Local arrangements should not be inferred from a national network or another city's adoptee organization, each of which organizes its own activities.
Its Upcoming page lists a game night at K-Zone Cafe + Pub on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 p.m., and a Minhwa painting class on November 14 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Both are save-the-date notices with further details pending. They do not establish free admission, open registration or admission for every age.
Email info@aka-la.org to confirm the final address, charges, reservation arrangements and whether relatives or friends may join. The same page retains September's Chuseok gathering and older events. Past baseball-payment instructions, parking charges and karaoke age restrictions should not be applied to the new gatherings. Social participation also does not imply access to birth-family tracing, legal services or clinical therapy.
