Adults considering a return to CUNY in New York City can reach a Reconnect Navigator through Get Help, virtual consultation or 646-664-3560. The general Reconnect entry serves people aged twenty-four or older, including first-time and returning associate, bachelor's and graduate-degree students.
Prepare information about former colleges, completed credits, outstanding tuition, work hours and goals. Navigators can help with re-enrollment, program choices, costs and campus resources. The site lists completion, forgiveness and retention grants, but these depend on individual assessment. Contacting the program does not automatically erase every debt or guarantee acceptance of all previous credits.
Distinguish this general adult-advising entry from the separate NYS Opportunity Promise arrangement for eligible learners aged twenty-five to fifty-five in approved associate programs, with additional conditions.
