San Joaquin

San Joaquin surplus auctions: plan collection and transport
Evergreen buying guide. California's San Joaquin County auctions surplus equipment and furniture through Public Surplus and GovDeals. Items go through internal county redistribution, nonprofit bidding and then public auction. This is not a live inventory advertisement.
After a winning bid, the platform sends a notice with next steps. Staff from the department holding the item arrange a collection date, time and place. Several purchases may require visits to different locations. Buyers handle moving and transportation; do not assume a central collection warehouse or delivery service.
For third-party collection, the buyer must first email the purchasing contact through the auction account with the collector's name. The collector needs copies of the award notice, payment receipt and platform email to the buyer, plus identification. Review each item's terms and transport requirements before bidding. Questions: surplusrequest@sjgov.org.
