Skyline Automotive Technology: separate application routes for morning and evening study
Skyline College’s Automotive Technology program is based at 3300 College Drive, San Bruno, CA 94066. Prospective technicians and owners seeking basic maintenance knowledge should compare the morning, evening and weekend routes rather than assume all classes use the same admission process.
The full-time morning route requires a special Automotive Program application in addition to general college admission and completion of prerequisites. The standing deadlines listed online are November 15 for spring entry and April 15 for fall entry. Qualified late applicants are considered only after on-time applicants and if openings remain. Confirm the intended term with the department; submitting an application does not establish acceptance.
Evening and weekend courses generally do not require that special application or personal tools, although individual classes can carry materials or lab fees. Check the live schedule. Morning students must plan for tools and a heavier timetable. Contact 650-738-4438 or forryo@smccd.edu about course selection, prerequisites or a campus visit. Degrees also require applicable general education and other requirements; employment and completion time are not guaranteed.
