收到災後 GFIP 洪水保險：到期前安排個人保單
FEMA 的 Group Flood Insurance Policy（GFIP）是特定重大災害援助受助人的洪水保障，並非所有受災家庭自動享有。符合條件的住宅或財物可獲最多三年保障；收到證明後，先核對姓名、地址、承保項目及自己的生效與到期日期。

Disaster-related GFIP flood coverage: arrange an individual policy before expiry
FEMA’s Group Flood Insurance Policy serves qualifying recipients of assistance after a declared major disaster; it is not automatic coverage for every affected household. Eligible property may receive up to three years of protection. Check the certificate’s name, address, covered property and individual effective and expiry dates.
An ongoing insurance requirement attached to disaster assistance does not end when the GFIP expires. FEMA directs recipients to arrange an individual Standard Flood Insurance Policy through an agent before expiry. Keep the assistance notice and certificate, and check the replacement policy’s start date and premium early rather than after another flood.
