紐約 Mobile ID：手機證件屬自願選項，實體證件仍要保留

New York Mobile ID is optional: keep carrying your physical document
Holders of a valid New York licence, learner permit or non-driver ID can check device requirements on DMV’s page and follow its App Store or Google Play links for free MiD. Enrollment requires photographs of the most recently issued physical card and a selfie, followed by verification; a picture stored in a photo album is not MiD.
Not every business or law-enforcement agency accepts MiD, so continue carrying the physical document. A verifier scans the app’s QR code and the holder approves the requested information without handing over the phone. DMV links to official support for setup or device changes.
