Saratoga’s Hakone Gardens: resident offers, entry times and accessibility
Hakone Gardens is at 21000 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA 95070. The official page currently lists $15 adult admission. Saratoga residents receive free entry on the first Tuesday of each month with government photo ID showing a Saratoga address. The former Santa Clara County resident offer ended in January 2026.
Summer hours through October 30 are weekdays 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with last entry at 4:30, and weekends 11 a.m.–5 p.m., with last entry at 4. Parts of this historic hillside garden are not fully accessible. Call 408-741-4994 about routes and temporary closures before travelling.
