Sierra College

Sierra College basic-needs support: pantry access and emergency funds differ
Sierra College's Basic Needs Center is in Building K, Room 1, at Rocklin. Contact 916-660-7595 or basicneeds@sierracollege.edu. Online, Nevada County and Tahoe-Truckee students can also request assistance through the online form.
The pantry serves currently enrolled students facing food insecurity regardless of income. The page permits weekly visits, with item-specific limits. Bring a reusable bag after the first visit. Pantry-only access does not require the general assistance intake, although staff complete an initial registration.
Emergency money and gift cards are not automatic benefits for every pantry user. Separate requirements include financial-aid and Pell eligibility, current and completed coursework, conduct standing and supporting documents. Emergency funds do not pay tuition or course materials. Ask staff to assess the situation rather than presume eligibility, an award amount or a payment date. Food availability and other resource limits also need checking when help is requested.
