Checking ICAN storytime for Vietnamese-English families in San Jose
ICAN's Storytime serves Vietnamese families with children under five, using stories, shapes, colors, numbers and crafts to introduce Vietnamese and English. Founded by Vietnamese refugees, the organization offers bilingual families a chance to read together and meet other parents and children in a community setting.
The overview lists Vietnamese storytime on Mondays at the Family Resource Center. Before attending, call 408-509-1958 or email programs@ican2.org to confirm the current calendar, start time, registration, cost and caregiver-attendance requirements. The center is at 2072 Lucretia Avenue, San Jose, CA 95122. Its regular office hours are not the timing of every story session.
The headquarters at 890 Hillview Court, Suite 100 in Milpitas is a separate appointment-only location. Photographs of activities at Alum Rock Library also do not mean every session takes place there. Follow the confirmed venue and tell staff your child's age and language needs.
