Friends of SFPL 捐書要預約：先剔除拒收書籍，再安排搬運
Friends of the San Francisco Public Library 透過轉售捐贈書籍及媒體支持圖書館系統，接受多種語言的書。所有送交均須事先預約，地點在 1630 17th Street, San Francisco, CA 94107，不是把書放到任意圖書館門口。
每次預約上限為二十箱或三十袋，容器須能留下。先剔除霉味、水損、煙味、蟲害或有劃線筆記的書；百科全書、雜誌與學術期刊、VHS 及錄音帶也列為不接受。大型遺產或庫存捐贈應致電 415-522-8606 另行安排。

Friends of SFPL book donations: book a slot and screen the collection
Friends of the San Francisco Public Library resells donated books and media to support the library system and accepts books in multiple languages. All drop-offs require an appointment at 1630 17th Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. Do not leave a collection outside an arbitrary library branch.
Each appointment allows up to twenty boxes or thirty bags, in containers that can stay behind. Remove books with mold, water damage, tobacco smells, pests or marked passages. Encyclopedias, magazines, academic journals, VHS and cassette tapes are also excluded. Call 415-522-8606 about unusually large estates or inventories instead of arriving with an unannounced truckload.
Use the intercom on arrival. You or a companion must be able to carry the containers roughly ten feet to the receiving bins; volunteer lifting assistance is not guaranteed. Pack manageable loads and confirm the appointment time. Receipts are available, but this guide promises no slot, purchase price, tax valuation or placement of donated books in the library collection.
