Finding Korean reading and family activities through public libraries

To keep reading Korean while living in the United States, start with your local public library’s language filters instead of searching only by English book titles. These are examples from two cities, not a nationwide service guarantee.

Los Angeles Public Library lets readers filter its events calendar by Korean. Current listings include storytime and conversation activities. Open each listing to check age range, language, online or in-person format, and registration. A date found today should not be treated as a permanent weekly schedule.

Seattle Public Library lists Korean collections at Central Library and the International District / Chinatown Branch. Its World Languages page links separately to physical materials and Korean e-books and audiobooks. Note the title or author, then check availability and pickup location.

Seattle also offers Korean introductory videos about library cards and selected online resources. If you live elsewhere, ask your own library about its collections, card eligibility and events.
