Placer County’s The Gathering Inn: prepare reusable goods and arrange larger donations
The Gathering Inn accepts clean, season-appropriate clothing in new or gently used condition. Designated items such as hygiene products, underwear and socks must be new. Standard drop-offs are limited to six 13-gallon bags or boxes; larger loads need approval through donations@thegatheringinn.com rather than being left outside.
The official collection sites are 201 Berkeley Ave., Roseville, and 11442 E Ave., Auburn, Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Books require prior approval; furniture depends on need and transport capacity, and mattresses must be new and unopened. Neighbors can also ask the Donation Coordinator about clothing-closet access times.
