小企業難以取得工程保證：SBA 保證計劃須經參與代理申請

Small businesses struggling to obtain contract bonds: the SBA route goes through participating agents
SBA’s Surety Bond Guarantee helps eligible small businesses that have difficulty obtaining contract bonds on usual terms by sharing risk with participating surety companies. It is not a direct grant. Eligible categories include bid, performance and payment bonds, rather than commercial bonds for matters such as business licensing.
Use the official participating-agent directory and ask an agent about business size, contract eligibility, credit and capacity. SBA lists limits of $9 million for non-federal contracts and $14 million for federal contracts. Its performance/payment guarantee fee is 0.6% of contract value. No SBA fee applies to bid-bond guarantees, but that does not make every agent or surety charge free. Questions: suretybonds@sba.gov.
