器官捐贈意願登記：使用州名冊，並讓家人知道
OrganDonor.gov 提供州份地圖及選單，連到各州器官捐贈名冊；亦可在當地車輛管理部門辦理。想更改資料或意願，可返回州名冊查詢，而不是在一般網站留言當成正式登記。多數州可選擇希望捐出的器官及組織。
完成後把決定告訴家人，讓他們了解並在有需要時協助實踐意願。登記是表達死後捐贈意願的途徑，不保證日後必定能捐贈；若希望在生時捐出腎臟等器官，須另查活體捐贈程序。官方頁把兩者分開說明。

Registering an organ-donation decision: use the state registry and inform family
OrganDonor.gov links to state donor registries through a map and state menu. Registration is also available through the local motor-vehicle department. Return to the state registry to update information or preferences; a comment on an unrelated website is not formal registration. Most states allow choices about organs and tissues.
Tell family about the decision so they understand and can help carry out your wishes. Registration records a decision about donation after death; it does not guarantee eventual donation. Donating while alive, such as living kidney donation, follows a different process explained separately on the official site.
