Antelope Valley College

Antelope Valley College Veterans Resource Center: coordinate benefits before registration
Antelope Valley College's Veterans Resource Center assists active-duty personnel, reservists, veterans and dependents with education goals, benefit certification and transfer planning. The main page lists Student Services Room 170, while the contact page says Room 126; confirm before travelling. Contact 661-722-6300, extension 6342, or veterans@avc.edu.
For military Tuition Assistance, the college advises speaking with the branch's Educational Services Officer or counselor before enrolling at AVC. VA education-benefit applications, Joint Services Transcripts and Air Force college transcripts have separate official routes. Completing one does not establish approval of the others.
Prepare the intended program, previous credits and benefit-eligibility notices, then ask the center how selected classes are reported. Course changes, withdrawal, transfer or a study interruption may affect payment and refund arrangements. Check with the center and relevant admissions or finance staff before acting. The website's refund wording varies by class length and requires course-specific confirmation; this guide does not convert any percentage into an individual refund or benefit guarantee. Assistance is separate from final eligibility decisions.
