English Separating activity, meal and transport registration at Austin’s AARC Austin's Asian American Resource Center offers pan-Asian cultural and community-learning activities for residents aged 50 and older. Participants first submit a registration form. Burmese, Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese versions are among those provided. Request language support in advance at 512-974-1700 or AARC@AustinTexas.gov. After registration, some learning activities operate on a drop-in, first-come basis, with activities and instructors subject to change. Meals are a separate service for registered participants aged 60 and above, requiring additional in-person paperwork at the center. The activity program's age threshold of 50 is not the meal eligibility threshold. Transportation is another limited service using specified pickup stops and prior arrangements. Confirm activities, meals and transport separately, explaining companion or accessibility needs before planning a visit.
