補充來源（查閱日期：2026-10-26）： https://www.fox9.com/news/jesse-ventura-defends-streamer-hasan-piker-minneapolis-event https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/10/26/dfl-gop-candidates-look-to-distance-themselves-from-divisive-figures-like-trump-walz English NewsNation live report: Omar–Piker event divides Minnesota Democrats Reporting live from Minneapolis, NewsNation correspondent Rich McHugh says Rep. Ilhan Omar’s appearance with streamer Hasan Piker is due to begin within hours and has divided Minnesota Democrats. The current event preparations are distinct from the older remarks about the September 11 attacks and Israel that underlie the controversy. The report says Rep. Angie Craig criticized the decision to share a stage with Piker, while Sen. Amy Klobuchar objected to some of his past remarks. Omar’s team is standing by the appearance, saying it wants to reach younger voters whose early-voting participation has been weak. The electoral effect remains uncertain; these reactions do not establish a loss of votes. Separate reporting by FOX 9 and MPR identifies the October 26 evening event as being hosted by state Sen. Omar Fateh and notes that the appearance was announced last week. The update concerns the live report and responses before the event, rather than a new announcement. FOX 9 also reports Piker’s explanation that his September 11 remarks concerned the consequences of US foreign policy; he says he had already apologized for his wording.
