查閱：2026-10-22（America/Vancouver）。 English Ventura County old-car buyback: confirm eligibility before handing over a vehicle Ventura County APCD lists a $2,000 buyback for eligible, operable cars, light pickups, SUVs and vans from model year 2003 or earlier. This is not a general used-car valuation or guaranteed acceptance. Vehicles generally need 24 months of county registration and operable status; limited registration-lapse or non-operation exceptions require review. Smog requirements, a clear California title without liens and a gross vehicle weight rating no higher than 10,000 pounds also apply. Vehicles must reach a participating dismantler under their own power and pass inspection. Annual funding is limited and first come, first served. Call the contractor at 800-717-7624 to check eligibility, funding and an appointment before surrendering the vehicle. Do not dismantle it first or assume towing satisfies the driving requirement.
