English Ventura Adult and Career Education: four steps to vocational enrollment Ventura Adult and Career Education, or VACE, describes four stages for Career Technical Education enrollment. Start by registering for an information session through its official Enrollment page. It covers programs, schedules, tuition, potential financial aid and career paths. Attending that session does not complete admission. Next, arrange a program-counselor meeting to discuss goals and expectations, tour training facilities, meet staff and review aid where applicable. Formal registration is the third stage: complete forms; provide proof of being at least eighteen and a high-school diploma or equivalent; submit other required documents; make financial arrangements; meet program-specific requirements; and schedule and take the CASAS assessment. Some programs have additional prerequisites, which the counselor should explain. After registration is complete, the fourth stage provides orientation information, a class schedule and student resources.
