English Rancho Los Amigos driver rehabilitation: referrals, appointments and cost questions Rancho Los Amigos’ Edith Gillespie Driver Rehabilitation and Training Program serves disabled or medically at-risk drivers, from teenagers to older adults. Services include behind-the-wheel evaluation, adaptive-equipment training and assessment of modified-vehicle needs. Have professionals assess driving and equipment needs before purchasing modifications. A physician’s referral to Occupational Therapy is required. Existing Health Services patients may ask their primary care provider; other community patients can begin with the Outpatient Referral Office at 562-385-6536. The program contacts patients to arrange an appointment after receiving the referral. Individual appointments run Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., excluding county holidays.
