Its membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. Local-only dues are listed at $16 for teachers and $6 for students. If joining late in the year, confirm the applicable period rather than assuming twelve months from payment. Alternatively, applicants joining the national American Association of Teachers of Japanese can select NCJTA as their local affiliate and forward their AATJ receipt to the NCJTA treasurer.
