Applicants must have been injured on or after January 1, 2013 and received a Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit voucher from the claims administrator. The application must be received within one year of the voucher’s service date, rather than one year after the injury. Prepare the complete voucher and proof of service, workers’ compensation claim number and ADJ case number. If no ADJ number is available, first email RTWSP@dir.ca.gov for guidance. Receiving the voucher does not automatically produce this payment: a separate application and review are required. Call 510-286-0787 for application-process assistance.
