Transcripts, certificates and licenses need a detailed course-by-course evaluation from a CTC-approved agency, not a basic summary. The evaluation must establish a bachelor’s degree and teacher preparation that includes student teaching. Choose the appropriate Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Education Specialist route for the intended assignment; their requirements and authorizations differ. After receiving a Preliminary credential, follow its individual renewal requirements and expiry date to progress toward a Clear credential.
