Adult books, religious material, textbooks, activity books and encyclopedias are excluded, along with damaged or moldy items. Arrange a Book Hub appointment at 141 Flushing Avenue, Suite 606 if you need a receipt or vehicle-unloading help. Building 77 at Brooklyn Navy Yard also has a lobby donation bin at that address. That is different from an upstairs appointment: bin donations do not receive receipts, and capacity matters. Do not leave overflowing boxes. Sort by age suitability and condition, check the chosen location's rules, and contact info@brooklynbookbodega.org about larger donations or shipping. Partner points have their own quantity and opening limits; some new-book partnership routes do not accept used books. This guide does not turn a donation address into a free collection point or guarantee receipts, acceptance or tax treatment.
