查詢 Adult Program Dean Masako Thomas：thomas@sakuragakuen.org。 English Sakura Gakuen adult Japanese: online placement, tuition and refund terms Sakura Gakuen's adult Japanese program meets in small Zoom groups once a week, with grammatical explanations in English. Beginner conversation does not require learning to write Japanese characters. Separate reading and writing classes depend on sufficient interest, so those options should not be treated as one guaranteed combined course. The 2026 Monday fall term runs August 17 through December 14; Tuesday classes run August 18 through December 8. Both have already started. Learners with some Japanese may inquire about joining an ongoing class, subject to space and teacher placement. The registration page lists $300 per semester, or $200 for Buddhist Church of Sacramento members. It expressly limits refunds to canceled classes rather than ordinary withdrawal. Students need an internet-connected device with both video and audio. Registration is complete after the required information, class-rule agreement and payment; the Zoom link follows enrollment. Contact adult-program dean Masako Thomas at thomas@sakuragakuen.org. The school's 2401 Riverside Boulevard address does not turn these online adult classes into campus sessions.
